An apartment offers you everything a hotel room does - and a lot more besides: spacious living and sleeping areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and the freedom to shape your day independently of breakfast or restaurant hours. For families and groups especially, an apartment is usually the more affordable choice too, since you book a whole apartment rather than individual rooms. You won’t have to compromise on comfort: bed linen, towels and final cleaning are all included.

When you book directly through our website, you secure the best price with no commission mark-ups, benefit from flexible cancellation terms, and deal with us directly for any questions - no booking platform in between.

Book your stay conveniently through our website. Depending on the rate you’ve booked, you can make changes or cancel yourself. Simply click the “Detailed booking information” link at the bottom of the booking confirmation email you received after booking. On the following page, enter the email address used for the booking along with your surname. You can then view, change or cancel your booking.

Depending on the rate, up to two free date changes are possible. Changes and cancellations are free of charge up to three days before arrival.

Please note that bookings made through booking platforms such as Booking.com are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Check-in is simple thanks to the key box at our building: you’ll receive your personal access code and all the important information by email the day before you arrive. Arrival is possible from 16:00 - and thanks to the key box, at a later time too, whenever suits you.

Departure is until 11:00. When you leave the apartment, please leave the key inside and close the door behind you.

For stays of at least 7 nights, we offer a free mid-stay clean on request. This includes cleaning the floors, replacing towels, taking out the rubbish, topping up toilet paper, coffee and soap, and a light clean of the bathroom and kitchen.

An additional mid-stay clean at an interval of your choice is available for €25 per clean. Please get in touch by email or phone to arrange this.

On departure, we ask guests to leave the apartment swept clean with the dishes washed. Heavy soiling will be charged according to the effort involved, with a minimum charge of €25. The deposit is handled entirely through our online guest system.

Longer stays come with attractive special rates. From 30 nights, you can enter the discount code LONGSTAY when booking through our website and receive a 20% discount on the booking price.

Standard occupancy is 2 people. For each additional person up to the maximum occupancy of the relevant apartment, we charge €15 per night per person.

By car:
Coming from the A5 motorway, take the Riegel exit from the south (Basel/Freiburg) and follow the signs towards Kenzingen. You’ll find us right in the old town, on Kirchplatz.

By public transport:
Kenzingen is directly on the Rhine Valley Railway (RB26/RE) between Freiburg and Offenburg. From Kenzingen station (Eisenbahnstraße 51), it’s only around 450 m, or a 5-6 minute walk, to our building on Kirchplatz.

All apartments are equipped with free WiFi.

Please enter your invoicing details in our guest system before your departure date. An invoice will be sent automatically to your registered email address on the day of departure. You’ll receive access to our guest system a few days before arrival.

The rental price includes bed linen, towels, tea towels, washing-up liquid and bin bags. We also provide coffee pods for the coffee machine, as well as salt and pepper. Just let us know if you need a top-up or anything else. Final cleaning is also included in the price.

Every apartment has its own parking space right outside the door. We charge €15 per night per vehicle for this.

Bookings through our website can be conveniently paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or PayPal.

Pets are very welcome. For the extra cleaning involved, we charge a flat fee of €15 per night per animal. Please let us know about your pet before you arrive.

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments or anywhere in the building. Please understand that we will charge €300 if this is not observed.

Many apartments have a sofa bed for extra guests. If you’ve booked the apartment for more people and are using the sofa bed, you’ll find the bed linen and towels for it in the wardrobe. If you have any questions about how to use it, feel free to get in touch.

Some apartments have their own washing machine and dryer. In addition, all guests have free access to a shared laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

We’re happy to provide a travel cot and a high chair free of charge. Please request these by email or phone before you arrive.
